There’s nothing quite like visiting a new church for the first time; there are so many new faces and strange places, and it feels as if you stand out. You’re not alone—we have all been there. As a church, we want to be a place where you feel welcome and at ease—we would love to meet you!

Parking Options

If it's your first time visiting Bethany Green Lake, please give yourself a few extra minutes to park. As a relatively large church in an urban area, parking can be tricky here, and we have several options. There are a few spots reserved for visitors in our small parking lot (enter from 80th Ave NE), and you may park in the lot just across the street at Bagley Elementary. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Please remember to be courteous to our neighbors as you're parking.

Shuttle Lot at North Seattle College

Currently paused for COVID19 precautions.  We look forward to offering this again soon!

Seattle Pacific University
& University of Washington

  • Shuttles available for SPU beginning September 19. Pick up in front of Hill Hall at 9am and 10:30am.
  • UW students–Bethany is just a bus stop away! Use Route 45 on Sundays. Plan your trip here. *Due to construction, the stop at University Way NE and Ne 41st ST is unavailable; instead, use the northbound stop on 15 Ave NE and NE 42nd St.

Sundays for Families

Bethany Green Lake's Children, Youth, and Family Ministries exist to teach, equip and serve your family. Our goal is to resource you and your kids to grow in relationship with God and His people. If you're planning a visit us on a Sunday, you can skip the first-time visitors' registration process by creating a MyBethany account for your family before you visit!

Belong Families

Families of Children with Special Needs/Foster & Adopt

Belong Families, if you are wanting a buddy for your child on Sunday mornings, please contact Amy ( for more info!

Nursery & Preschool

Birth–2 years old | Nursery A and B

Our nursery is available for all Sunday services, serving children ages birth to 2 years old. Stop by with your child in the sanctuary, where a member of our team is ready to receive your child while you enjoy the service.

Preschool programming is happening at the 9:30am and 11am services! Stop by with your preschooler in the downstairs CLC building to check in your child at our check in station. We will have toys, arts and crafts, a bible story, and much more! Pick them up after the service at the same spot, and make sure to bring your check out tag.

If you would like to all worship together, we have space for you and your family to retreat if your little one needs a little more room to move about during the service. In our upstairs space (Classrooms A and B, in the sanctuary building) we will have the service streamed, with books and toys for your children. There will be a staff member in the room, but parents must stay with their child/children during the service.

5 years–3th Graders

Elementary programming is happening at both the 9:30am and 11am service. Bring your child to the upstairs CLC building and check them in at the check in station. We will have songs, games, crafts, and bible stories! Pick them up after service, and don't forget your check out tag.

Tweens on the Move

4th-5th Graders

Calling all 4th & 5th graders! Tweens on the move is happening at the 9:30am service over in the chapel basement with Greg Collins! Enjoy games and awesome bible stories. If you need help finding where tweens meet, please don't hesitate to ask a staff member on Sunday mornings!

Middle School & High School Students

6th–12th Graders

Middle and High School students are invited to worship with their family or friends in the main services at Bethany Green Lake. Join other students for youth-specific programming on Sunday (for MS) and Wednesday (for HS) nights. Sunday School is not currently available for 6th–8th grade students but we hope to have that back up and running soon.
