Exploring identity, spiritual formation, and qualities of strong leadership, Bethany’s Leadership Program is a ten-week invitation to vocational discernment through interactive weekly content, personal development, hands-on experience, and cohort learning. The Leadership Program provides two summer opportunities: internships for young adults and an adult volunteer intensive designed for individuals working full-time.
Both iterations invite individuals to deeper discernment of their gifts and talents through the context of leadership development. Additionally, participants will gain understanding of how discipleship and service impact calling–whether is be in ministry or the marketplace.
Summer Internships
Part-Time, 30 hours per week for 10 Weeks
Young adults are invited to consider being a part of the Bethany Leadership Program through a 10-week summer internship. Interns will share many common experiences while having varied individual responsibilities depending on the area of ministry which they are serving.
This three-month leadership experience is for young adults who want to learn how their gifts and talents could further the Kingdom of God and bless the city. Through mentorship, discipleship, cohorts, and service, interns will gain understanding of how a life of following Christ and serving others has lasting importance whether they pursue a calling in ministry or the marketplace.
Internships include weekly staff meetings, special events, weekly cohort meetings, one-on-ones with their ministry lead, intern retreats, and responsibilities in areas that Bethany has deemed critical to discerning gifts and calling.
