Racial Justice and Reconciliation

Reconciliation is the ongoing work of joining Jesus in restoring broken relationships and systems through truth-telling, repentance, and forgiveness, so that God’s kingdom is more fully revealed.

You’re invited to be formed by God’s heart for justice, restoration, and repair through the Ministry of Racial Justice and Reconciliation.

Together, we pursue the work of reconciliation as disciples of Jesus—seeking to address the realities of racism, honor the image of God in one another, and live out the Gospel’s vision of unity in diversity.

Our Commitment

As a community, we are committed to:

  1. Bringing our understanding and experiences of culture, ethnicity, and race into our shared discipleship (1 Corinthians 12:12–14).

  2. Responding to racism and racial harm with the way of Jesus—through justice, reconciliation, and restoration (Ephesians 2:14; 2 Corinthians 5:18–19).

  3. Celebrating racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity as the gift God made it to be (Genesis 1:27) and that is reflected in God’s kingdom (Rev 7:9).

Healing and Reconciliation Practices

Our restorative practices create space for honest conversation, deeper understanding, and healing in the context of our faith.

Restorative Circles

Small, guided group spaces to share, listen, and be heard in our experiences of culture, race, and ethnicity.

Facilitated Dialogue

Structured conversations that support healing and understanding after moments of relational hurt across racial, ethnic, and cultural differences.
